Essays of W.I.I.T.S. is a collection of essays which seeks to offer solutions and a challenge to the African American community. Citing the accomplishments of a vast number of prominent African Americans, I outline the strengths and talents that support a focused effort to strive for greatness. Developing a sense of purpose in life, having faith in God and employing positive thinking are presented as a means to achieve success. A discussion of the lack of representation of African Americans in history books are highlighted. Finally, this is a work that I endeavor to present a view of present day life for African American citizens that may offer inspiration and definition to the pursuit of happiness and success.
